Popular manga series “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba” is created by Koyoharu Gotge. From February 15, 2016, to May 18, 2020, it was published in serial form in Shueisha’s Weekly Shnen Jump magazine. The show centers on Tanjir Kamado, a young boy who becomes a demon hunter when demons viciously assault his family and transform his little sister Nezuko into a monster. In an effort to discover a means to transform Nezuko back into a human, he joins the Demon Slayer Corps, a group committed to exterminating demons and defending mankind. By September 2021, 23 volumes from the series have been collected.

The anime television series and several feature films that have been made from the series have helped it become a cultural phenomenon in Japan. Japan’s “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba” manga series is written and illustrated by Koyoharu Gotge. Blade of Demon Destruction is how the title is translated literally. Although Shueisha also distributes the manga in Spanish and English simultaneously with its release in Japan via their Comic Plus website, Viz Media is in charge of publishing the manga in the English language.

The original manga has been adapted into an anime series that will air from April 2019 to September 2019 and is being made by Ufotable. It was announced that there will be a sequel feature film during the screening of the series’ last episode, and it would be released in October 2020.

One of the most popular manga series, the manga has a total circulation of over 80 million copies as of the month of May in the year 2020, including its digital version. A lot of awards have since been given to the anime series, which is now regarded as one of the best made in the 2010s.
